What's the difference between the GTMX Sense (Tactile) and Kreo Starling (Linear) switches?
The GTMX Sense is a tactile switch with a noticeable bump when the key actuates — ideal if you prefer clear typing feedback and want to feel each keypress register. The Kreo Starling is a linear switch with a smooth, uninterrupted keypress from top to bottom, preferred by gamers for faster, more consistent inputs. Both come pre-lubed from the factory and are rated for 60 million keystrokes, so it really comes down to personal preference.
How does the triple-device wireless pairing work?
The Swarm 65 lets you pair up to three devices simultaneously over Bluetooth 5.0 or use 2.4GHz wireless via the included dongle for lower-latency performance. A dedicated hardware switch on the keyboard lets you swap between devices instantly — useful if you bounce between a work laptop, personal PC, and phone or tablet. You can also go wired via USB-C anytime.
How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?
The 4000mAh battery delivers up to 200 hours of use with RGB lighting off. With lighting on, expect shorter runtime depending on brightness and effects. Charging is done through the same USB-C port used for wired mode, so you can keep working while it powers up.
What does "gasket-mounted" actually feel like compared to a regular keyboard?
Gasket mounting suspends the switch plate between soft gaskets instead of rigidly screwing it to the case. The result is a slight, controlled flex with every keypress that feels cushioned rather than harsh — easier on your fingers during long sessions. Combined with the polycarbonate plate and five layers of internal foam, it also produces a deeper, more muted typing sound without the hollow "ping" common in budget keyboards.
Can I swap out the switches later without soldering?
Yes. The Swarm 65 has a 5-pin hot-swap PCB that accepts both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches. You can pull out the stock switches and install different ones — tactile, linear, clicky, silent, or boutique variants — without any soldering or tools beyond a simple switch puller. It's a great way to experiment with typing feel over time without buying a new keyboard.
Is the 65% layout practical for everyday work, or is it only for gaming?
The 65% layout keeps all letters, numbers, arrow keys, and essential navigation keys — you only lose the numpad and dedicated function row (F-keys are accessible via a function layer). It works well for writing, coding, and general productivity, and it frees up significant desk space for mouse movement. If your work involves heavy data entry or constant numpad use, a larger layout may suit you better.
How many devices can I connect at a time?
You can connect 3 devices at a time by holding fn+1/2/3 keys and then swap between devices using fn+1/2/3.
How do I factory reset if my custom settings get messed up?
Simply hold Fn + Esc for a few seconds to restore all factory defaults, including RGB settings and key mappings.
Does Swarm have an on board memory?
Yes — Swarm includes on-board flash memory that saves your lighting, key remaps, and macros so they persist on any device.

It's smooth, I like the way it sounds. The feature I like the most is the lighting and volume knob. One thing I noticed that the tutorials for the software of this keyboard are very less, and I personally got confused while customizing it in the software otherwise there is no drawback in the keyboard. Thanks for providing such a amazing product at such a prize, will recommend to my friends and in future I would like buy more products from Kreo.

Overall the product is awesome and neat smooth experience and all but I have a small suggestion that i would like to share with you could you please try to provide a carrying case for the keyboard that really helps while carrying the keyboard i know that it's not for carrying but i have to carry that along with me that the issue iam facing for that price a reliable carrying pouch would be awesome overall its awesome keyboard

I like the build quality
It’s great. The keys sound awesome. They feel thocky and comfortable to type on. It’s robust and I like the gradient design. The variation of lighting effects are also nice.

The thocky sound and feel of the keyboard out of the box is very well done especially for people who want this without modding their keyboards. Build quality is also pretty good. The only very minor but still an area where i feel it can be improved is the usb c connector part. It is a little stiff to get it connected as the connector of the cable is straight but the keyboard connector is angeled to face a little up because of the wholle leyboard facing a little up due to the keyboard legs. What this does is bends the end side of the cable which can in long term break the cable I feel. Apart from this minor nit pick the keyboard overall is fantastic and I love it!

Sound dampening is great but the switch lubing could be better
The keyboard is good and compact but I don't like the dull purple color on the keys randomly and the keys could have been a bit easier to pull out the keypad puller doesn't work for the keys but it does work good in pulling switchs and overall the battery could be 5000mah the rest is good for the price i am using it for a week now and its amazing and smooth
